Patra Sinner is a senior legal executive and strategic advisor in the global music and entertainment industry. She serves as General Counsel for Symphonic, a leading independent music technology and distribution company supporting creators, labels, and rights holders worldwide. In this role, she oversees the company’s legal, compliance, and risk strategy while partnering closely with executive leadership to support Symphonic’s continued growth and innovation.

At Symphonic, she leads legal functions across commercial contracting, platform and partner agreements, rights and royalty management, data privacy, trust and safety initiatives, product counseling, policy development, and acquisitions. Her work sits at the intersection of law, technology, and creator advocacy, with a particular focus on building scalable systems that protect artists while enabling responsible business expansion.

Prior to joining Symphonic, she spent nearly two decades in private legal practice, serving as a litigation manager and principal attorney advising clients across complex disputes.  She also brings hands-on industry experience as a co-founder of Vista 22, a Nashville-based artist management, label services, and distribution company. With prior experience in radio, booking, PR and media, she has a practical, business-first perspective on legal strategy in the music ecosystem. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee and was certified a certified mediator.

Named as a 2025 Rising Star by the Association of Corporate Counsel and CBJ, she is a recognized industry voice on streaming fraud, trust and safety, copyright enforcement, impersonation scams, and platform accountability. She serves as Secretary on the Board of the Music Fights Fraud Alliance, an industry coalition focused on combating fraudulent activity and protecting legitimate music consumption. She is a frequent speaker, moderator, and panelist at leading industry conferences, symposiums, and forums addressing the evolving legal and policy challenges facing the digital music economy.
