Mustafa Khan leads the Technology, Media & Telecom vertical within Huntington Bank. Mustafa joined Huntington in December 2020 with a mandate to build and lead the TMT team. Since joining, the team has grown from $260 Million in exposure to approximately $5.0 Billion.
Prior to joining Huntington, Mustafa spent 20+ years within corporate and investment banking at various firms including Santander, MUFG, RBS and CIT. Mustafa has a proven track record of building high performing teams within TMT and Leverage Finance and has successfully executed on transactions of various sizes, complexities and ownership structures including Large Cap / Mid Corp / Middle Market and Sponsor Finance. Although a large portion of Mustafa’s career has been in the TMT industry, Mustafa also has experience in Corporate Aircraft and General Industries to include Chemicals and Gasses.
Mustafa began his career at GE Capital with two years of formal credit training and holds a BA in Finance from Temple University. Mustafa also served 10 years in the U.S. Army as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Specialist, graduating from the U.S. Army Leadership Course as a Non-Commissioned Officer.
