John Chapman is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Chord Music Partners and leads Dundee Partners, the Hendel Family Office, where he has overseen the family’s investments and strategic partnerships for nearly a decade. In that role, he led Dundee’s strategic expansion into music rights, culminating in the co-founding of Chord Music Partners in 2021 and importantly Chord’s 2024 joint venture with Universal Music Group, which established Chord as UMG’s global catalogue acquisition vehicle. Prior to Chord and Dundee, John founded Inkling Capital Solutions, where he advised $1B+ single-family offices. Earlier in his career, he helped build two hedge funds following investment banking roles at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital.
