Christos P. Badavas serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Melody Holdings. In this role, Badavas focuses on cutting-edge commercial and copyright issues affecting the Melody Holdings portfolio of companies, including digital licensing, global rights administration, legislative and regulatory issues, and other complex legal matters. He also leads the legal structuring and contractual elements of Melody Holdings’ various credit facilities, including its whole-business and asset-backed securitizations. This includes the recent 2025 issuance of $889 million in notes, which was the company’s fourth whole-business securitization and the largest 144A-rated whole-business securitization to date in the music sector.
