Benjamin “Ben” James serves as Managing Director, in First Horizon’s Music, Sports, and Entertainment Group.
Ben has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. He began his career in New York City and in 2012, he moved to Atlanta to pursue an opportunity with a large financial institution to focus on servicing the Entertainment industries.
Ben joined First Horizon in April 2019 to spearhead the Music, Sports and Entertainment’s Corporate Banking and Atlanta Private Banking Group. Ben is focused primarily on entities that own intellectual property, entertainment venues, and sports franchises. He also provides private banking and assists with all aspects of financial planning for athletes and entertainers in the highly specialized Music, Sports, and Entertainment industries.
Ben is active in the community and on the Board of Governors for LifeLink Foundation. He enjoys coaching youth hockey and is a certified USA Hockey Coach.
Ben and his wife and 3 sons reside in Dunwoody, Georgia.
