Matt Spetzler is the Founding Partner of Jamen Capital, a private investment firm focused on scaling businesses at the intersection of music, media, and technology. Matt has made more than 10 investments valued at over $10 billion across music IP, publishing, fintech, music production, audiobooks, and music education. He is also the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Pipeline, a $200 million-backed independent music financing platform that enables music companies to unlock the value of their IP.
Prior to launching Jamen Capital, Matt spent over 20 years at Francisco Partners, a leading global technology-focused private equity firm, where he was a Partner and Co-Head of Europe before transitioning to his current role as Senior Advisor.
Matt currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Kobalt, Soundtrack.io, Muse Group, RB Media, and Pipeline, and is the Chairman of the Senior Advisory Group at Recognition Music Group.
